Effortless: LFT is the kind of song that was brought into the world as an antidote to all the friction and grudges it bears, a comforter for the mind, the body and the soul. Quadron are a couple of Danish Los Angelinos raised on a strict diet of idyllic nineties American TV and New Jack Swing and their signature song’s full title is Looking For Trouble, but it does nothing of the sort.

LFT is really about a messy night with vocalist Coco Maja Hastrup Karshøj’s squad, but it’s starlight loop and hazy jazz flourishes are the mildest of perils: the biggest danger the listener will ever face is what to do when caught out at 3 am again, someone on your mind whilst this song plays on repeat.
