Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly – Young Adult Review

No longer the fresh-faced strummer of his 2006 debut The Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager, now thirty something Sam Duckworth releases the first album under his original moniker for almost four years, one which deals partly with the frustrations of growing older in an increasingly divided Britain.

Thankfully Young Adult is not a series of hectoring megaphone calls aimed at our higher selves, more a set of partly accoustic, mostly lo-fi stories where people rather than politics are the stars of his show.

You can hear the track DNA on the January playlist here and you can read the full review by clicking here. (Link will take you to my Live4Ever page – don’t worry, they don’t bite).

Young Adult is released on January 19th on Xtra Mile Recordings.
