Sometimes you get by with a little help from your friends:a cross between a gig and a welcome home party, Nick Hodgson launched his new album Tell Your Friends fittingly in his home town of Leeds last week, with former bandmates Simon Rix and Andrew White amongst the audence.
Performing a set which contained a mix of new material and old including the ubiquitous Oh My God and I Predict A Riot the drummer-turned-frontman gave the impression he’d been playing that role all his life, the whole spectacle a long way from his previous turn as a songwriter for hire.
